About the Memorial Foundation
There is a spirit at St. Jude Medical Center that is different from other hospitals. People here are genuinely committed to the mission set by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, and the quality and compassion of the care they provide shows it. We call this special feeling The Spirit of St. Jude.

Mission Hospital St. Joseph Health System

The Spirit of Giving is an idea from Mission Hospital about serving each other in meaningful ways as part of our daily lives. Some people demonstrate this through thoughtful acts. Some do so through volunteering their time and talent. Still others do it through philanthropy. The ways to show your Spirit of Giving are endless.
Mission-

CHOC Foundation for children exists to generate community awareness and resources for Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and CHOC at Mission, supporting specific strategies that underscore the hospitals' local and national leadership in prevention, treatment and research programs. CHOC Foundation for Children's fundraising activities are guided by six philanthropic aspirations: to provide quality medical care for all children; to treat chronic and catastrophic illnesses; to emphasize illness and injury prevention; to support the well-being of children; to achieve medical breakthroughs; and to serve as a community leader and partner in the care of children.

Regulation and Supervision Credit unions are chartered under either federal or state law. Federally chartered credit unions are regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an independent agency of the U.S. Government. NCUA's three board members are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. State chartered credit unions are regulated by their state credit union department. NCUA administers the federal insurance fund (NCUSIF), which covers all federal credit unions and most state chartered credit unions. No taxpayer money is used for regulating and overseeing federal credit unions, as all activities of NCUA and the NCUSIF are funded by credit unions. |
